Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion and garlic to the pot, and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add the elbow macaroni, stir, and cover. Simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
  • Optional: Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Add extra vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for a heartier dish.
  • For a richer flavor, use a mix of beef and pork.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
