Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 12 slices of cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing buns)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook Beef Mixture: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Place the bottom halves of slider buns in a baking dish. Spread the cooked beef evenly over the buns, top with cheese slices, and cover with the top halves of the buns.
  4. Butter and Bake: Brush melted butter over the tops of the buns. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. Cover with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts and buns are golden.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm!

Notes

  • You can customize with toppings like pickles, ketchup, mustard, or mayo.
  • Use Hawaiian rolls for a slightly sweeter flavor.
  • For a crispier top, broil for 1-2 minutes after baking.
