4 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
