These easy-to-make, no-bake treats are perfect for parties, family gatherings, or whenever you need a quick, indulgent dessert. Top with whipped cream and extra crushed wafers for added flavor and texture.

Ingredients

Scale

Banana Pudding:

  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (for whipped cream topping)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Filling:

  • 3 medium ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup vanilla wafer cookies, crushed or whole (for layering)

Chocolate Coating:

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate, if preferred)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil or vegetable oil (to help the chocolate harden smoothly)

Optional Toppings:

  • Crushed vanilla wafers
  • Shaved chocolate or chocolate sprinkles
  • Whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Banana Pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes. Let the pudding set in the fridge for 5 minutes.
  • Whipped Cream Topping: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside for topping or layering.
  • Assemble the Cups: In small serving cups or jars, layer the pudding, sliced bananas, and crushed vanilla wafers. Repeat layers as desired, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
  • Chocolate Coating: Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil (or vegetable oil) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Let the chocolate cool slightly before pouring over the top layer of pudding in each cup.
  • Chill and Serve: Place the cups in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden. Once set, garnish with optional toppings like crushed wafers, shaved chocolate, or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent them from becoming too mushy.
  • You can prepare the pudding cups ahead of time and add the chocolate coating just before serving for best results.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
