  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 oz packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional garnish)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional spices: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika

Instructions

  • Slow Cooker:
    • Place chicken in the slow cooker, season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
    • Top with cream cheese and sprinkle ranch seasoning.
    • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours. Shred the chicken.
    • Stir in cheddar cheese and bacon. Let cheese melt, then serve with green onions.
  • Instant Pot:
    • Place chicken in the Instant Pot with chicken broth. Add cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
    • Cook on high pressure for 12 minutes. Shred the chicken.
    • Stir in cheddar cheese and bacon. Serve with green onions.
  • Stovetop:
    • Cook chicken in a skillet over medium heat until done.
    • Reduce heat, add cream cheese and ranch seasoning. Stir until melted.
    • Mix in shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Serve with green onions.

Notes

  • Add chicken broth to thin the mixture if too thick.
  • For a spicy kick, add jalapenos or cayenne.
