  • 1 cup orzo pasta

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.

  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.

  4. Stir in orzo and cook for 2 minutes, toasting slightly.

  5. Pour in beef broth and milk. Stir and bring to a simmer.

  6. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until orzo is tender.

  7. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
