  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ cup flour (for coating the steaks)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste. Stir to combine, then pour over the steaks in the Crockpot.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the steaks are tender and the sauce has thickened.
  • Serve hot, over mashed potatoes or rice.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sliced mushrooms or a splash of red wine.
  • You can substitute the beef round steaks with other cuts like chuck or flank steak.
  • Adjust the seasoning to taste.
