  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional for extra cheesiness)
  • 6 slices cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • 4-5 fresh jalapeños (deseeded and diced, adjust for heat level)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional for a smoky flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crushed pork rinds or panko breadcrumbs (for crispy topping)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • Chopped green onions or cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Stir in half of the cheddar cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. Add the cooked chicken and mix well.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with remaining cheddar cheese and mozzarella (if using).
  • In a small bowl, combine crushed pork rinds or panko breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the casserole for a crispy topping.

  • Garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro before serving.
