Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, egg, melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Bake: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
