  • 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. On the unbuttered side, layer roast beef, sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, and Swiss cheese.
  4. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side out.
