  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortillas, for serving
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, shredded cheese

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss chicken slices in the spice mix until evenly coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add bell peppers and onions to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender and chicken is cooked through, another 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve the fajita mixture in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the spices and oil for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
